Reports to the Director, Strategic Sales & Analytics, this position is a critical leadership role on a transformational strategy and analytics team charged with managing POS insights, master event calendar, market strategy, and pricing recommendations for key accounts. This role will be responsible for working with a team of analysts to report on the health of the business, category, and identify market opportunities. This role is vertically integrated with the key leaders of SharkNinja's sales organization who are managing retail accounts and will be responsible for delivering insightful, actionable and honest sales analytics to drive faster and better decision making across our retail channel. This is an excellent position for a highly motivated, seasoned strategic team member who likes to work in a fast-paced environment and data driven atmosphere.

Deliverables:

  • Manage, Coach, and Mentor a team of analysts partnering with the SharkNinja sales organization.
  • Assortment management within key accounts
  • Product roadmap and profitability
  • Identify, measure, and quantify marketplace/ retailer trends, issues and opportunities.
  • Ability to problem solve and react to market threats.
  • Present strategic insights based on internal and external data to gain alignment of major initiatives at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Be the voice of the consumers and coach team members to bring the voice of the consumer to their projects.
  • Be the go-to resource for all Sales leadership.
  • Deliver Daily/Weekly/Monthly analytics reports showing health of business.
  • Analyze and evaluate pre- and post-promotion analyses for retailer, quantifying impact to brand and category.
  • Understand day to day impact of the POS to facilitate decision making.
  • Work with sales leadership to determine long term goals.
  • Measure and communicate on sales results; i.e promotional lift and elasticity, expected shifting due to line extension, pricing strategy, focus project plans on highest impact, etc.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience- in both channel management/marketing and working directly with data to tell a story and drive actions
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met
  • Strong Microsoft Excel/ Office skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges on the executive level
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel once or twice per year
