This position is located in the Washington, DC Commuting Area in the Bureau for Conflict Prevention and Stabilization, Center for Violence Prevention(CPS/CVP) at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).



Duties
  • Provide advice and guidance to Missions and Center on monitoring, evaluation, and learning of USAID projects and
    programs.
  • Plan, develop, and implement monitoring and evaluation activities that affect broad mission or program areas in the development assistance sector in general and specifically related to conflict and violence prevention, peace and reconciliation.
  • Analyze and evaluate quantitatively and qualitatively the effectiveness of line program operations in meeting established goals and objectives and makes recommendations based on findings.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of complex work operations and processes of broad administrative or technical USAID programs and makes recommendations for improvement of effectiveness and efficiency, using quantitative and/or qualitative methods.
  • Maintain liaison with agency organizations, as well as outside entities, particularly other federal agencies, bilateral and multilateral donors, non-governmental organizations and professional and academic organizations.
  • Develop frameworks and acts as liaison for planning, implementation, and evaluation of assistance programs for
    high-threat environments.
