Summary

The position serves as the Management and Program Analyst, GS FPL 11, located in the Office of Community Supervision and Intervention Services within Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for the District of Columbia (CSOSA). CSOSA provides community supervision of adult offenders released by the DC Superior Court or the United States Parole Commission on probation, parole and supervised release in the District of Columbia.



Duties
  • Performs a variety of duties related to the research, data collection and analysis, and identification of criminal activities and enterprises in the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Area to support the effective community supervision of adult probationers.
  • Monitors case status changes and produces intelligence reports for consumption by internal stakeholders to support staff safety and close supervision.
  • Utilizes a variety of internal and external databases and open sources to assist supervision staff, management, and other senior leadership with analysis of offender involvement in criminal activity and compliance with supervision.
  • Collaborates with other law enforcement agencies on straightforward intelligence-gathering problems, such as identifying intelligence gaps.
  • Participates in collaborative multi-agency task forces authorized by the Agency Director to further intelligence gathering and assist partners in investigations by assembling, collating, coordinating, and analyzing reports and evidence.
  • Participates in public meetings to provide intelligence-data and reports.
  • Performs routine and non-complex tasks to assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with law enforcement stakeholders. Assists in developing and implementing plans for disseminating routine information about a specific intelligence discipline and/or program.
