As a Senior Technical Trainer, you will develop and deliver innovative training classes and experiences to our customers, partners, and internal employees.   • Demonstrate mastery of foundational, intermediate, and advanced-level BlackLine University training content through deep technical and professional accounting knowledge
  • Stay at the forefront with evolving implementation standards, technological advancements, and industry trends within the realm of expertise.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned quarterly and annual delivery quality and utilization targets consistently resulting in exceptional training outcomes.
  • Follow and maintain operational or project tracking systems for each delivery or development project and adhere to deadlines.
  • Engage in proactive collaboration with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders during training needs assessments and delivery preparation sessions.
  • Demonstrate professional business acumen by representing BlackLine University in interactions with business leaders as needed.
  • Effectively collaborate in cross-functional readiness and internal enablement initiatives, developing and maintaining effective relationships that contribute to learning opportunities and the development of effective training and learning deliverables.
  • Proactively communicate industry trends as they relate to BlackLine through the appropriate processes and channels to ensure courses remain relevant for education, including topics of interest and delivery methods.
  • Represent the Training team at key customer events such as user confererences to showcase expertise and the value of BlackLine's training offerings.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You'll Bring:
Years of Experience in Related Field: 5-10 years of BlackLine and/or accounting experience
Education: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience
Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • BlackLine
  • Accounting/financial background
  • Public speaking
  • Project management
  • SaaS implementation methodology


Other:

  • Conceptualize and present technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with ability to incorporate diverse perspectives
  • Deliver virtual (MS Teams) and in-person training to both small and large audiences


Accommodate a global virtual and in-person delivery schedule outside of regular North American business hours

  • Work is primarily sedentary; no special demands are required.
  • Ability to travel 25-50%.


We're Even More Excited If You Have:

  • Experience applying adult learning principles to ILT and VILT training sessions.
  • Experience in eLearning and ILT course design, storyboarding, student and instructor guides, lab exercises, and job aids with tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience using Smartsheet or similar project management software.
  • Multilingual speakers are encouraged to apply.

Salary Range:
USD $98, USD $131,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
