Western Technical College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic curriculum, instruction, and assessment to prepare students for the workforce and/or further education.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver instructional design activities to support student learning
- Monitor student progress and conduct student evaluations
- Provide academic referrals and maintain division accreditation and student records
- Organize, develop, and deliver outcomes-based curriculum and assess student learning
- Complete all required College training and maintain the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position
- Minimum Qualifications: Journeymen or master in the plumbing or electrical trades with at least one year of related occupational experience in the last 5 years OR Plumbing or electrical trade apprentice who has successfully completed the train the trainer course and has one year of related occupational experience within the last 5 years OR One year in the last 5 years can be waived if there is at least two years of post-secondary teaching experience in related occupational field within the last five years
