Position Overview:
The Onboarding Technical Trainer Group Lead plays a crucial role in coordinating and executing training initiatives under the guidance of operational leadership. This position collaborates with various staff levels to design and implement effective training and recertification programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess training needs across all staffing levels and schedule training sessions in both production and office environments.
2. Develop annual resource plans and manage departmental budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and adherence to financial guidelines.
3. Oversee the creation and maintenance of quality and process documentation, including standard work modifications.
4. Ensure the training process is conducted professionally, enabling all participants to grasp and retain essential information.
5. Conduct plant tours and deliver presentations in diverse settings, including classrooms and workshops.
6. Maintain precise training records using computerized and web-based systems.
7. Create training materials aligned with BOS standards and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, making necessary adjustments.
8. Utilize and instruct others in training methodologies, including TWI, and commit to learning various technical subjects such as brazing and welding.
9. Perform line audits for newly certified employees to ensure compliance with processes and quality standards.
Expectations:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, while an Associate's degree is mandatory. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of related experience, including leadership roles. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to developing technical and interpersonal skills within the team.
Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000, reflecting national averages and subject to factors such as seniority and geographic location.
