Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Assistant to join our dynamic team at Shalom International- ISC division. We are an innovative infant/toddler accessories division known for our commitment to quality and creativity.
As a Production Assistant, you will support the production and design teams in various tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our development and manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Support:
Assist in the day-to-day operations, including coordination with various departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Quality Control:
Ongoing inspections of finished products at multiple stages to ensure they meet our quality standards. Report any defects or issues to the Production Manager.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records for internal and external use.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between production team, suppliers, designers, salespersons, and other departments to facilitate smooth communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support such as the creation of purchase orders, internal style information, calendar management, work in progress reports, product dispatching and tracking,
Process Improvement:
Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving production processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education:
Highschool diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree or coursework in fashion, textile, or related field is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum two years' experience in similar field or production environment.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook).
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
