This Information Technology (IT) Project Manager position is located in the End User Services Division (EUSD), Information Technology (IT), Enterprise Support (ES), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
This position will serve as the Deputy Division Director for EUSD.Duties include but are not limited to:
Managing administrative, functional, and programmatic activities within the Division in accordance with established IT and TSA procedures, modern business practices, and applicable laws and regulations.
Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes; and status reports on projects assigned (progress, issues and trends) to IT stakeholders, internal customers, and external customers.
Establishes and maintains guidelines and controls, and manages the overall project to include acquisition strategy, budget planning, End User operational support, component procurement, and outsourcing.
Provides expert technical skills and services to provide optimum solutions to complex and sensitive issues and difficult problems, often requiring innovative methods to achieve results.
Supervisory/Managerial Probationary Period Requirements:
Unless previously completed, you must satisfactorily complete a one-year supervisory probationary period to continue in this supervisory/managerial position.
