Job Description

Productive Resources LLC is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join their team in Springfield, IL. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and overseeing the technical design, development, and implementation of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical designs and specifications to meet project requirements.
  • Lead the creation and selection of system, sub-system, and component designs and specifications.
  • Collaborate with quality engineers to conduct FMEAs, establish DVP&R, and Quality Control Plans.
  • Develop and execute test plans, and conduct reliability testing.
  • Work with manufacturing engineers to design manufacturability, assembly process requirements, and assist in production startup.
  • Support documentation team in developing bills of materials, material master data, and constructing engineering change notifications.
  • Collaborate with product managers on refinement of product requirements and concept generation.
  • Develop and manage project plans to achieve objectives for requirements, unit cost, timeline, budget, resource needs, and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing new products, designing electro-mechanical systems, leading development teams, and managing projects.
  • 5+ years of experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, mastery in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and attention to detail.
  • Professional and effective communication with internal and external customers and team members at all levels of an organization.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Project Management software.
