Main Purpose of Job

This position serves as the Regional Provider Relations Director, implementation of Provider Relations activities to develop a system that moves from a model of agency-supported services to a model of person supported services. This position will review and score DDA provider applications, monitor provider review activities, recommend initiatives to address systemic problems that are identified through these activities. This position requires extensive coordination with the provider community and the Office of Health Care Quality. This position is required to visit provider sites for the purpose of referring provider sites to OHCQ for licensure. This position is eligible for hybrid telework-60% will be telework.�\r

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. \r
Experience: Three years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources. \r
Notes: \r
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. \r
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.\r

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should have a BS/BA degree and working knowledge of DDA.\r
