  • Conducts specialized studies to recommend enhancements, cost reductions, and meet changing requirements.
  • Analyzes project needs and offers guidance on equipment operation, maintenance, and modifications.
  • Coordinates the work of engineers and technical staff, overseeing project completion with minimal review.
  • Trains and supports other team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Acts as an organizational consultant and leads cross-functional teams under broad direction.
  • Applies advanced theories, principles, and processes to assigned responsibilities, contributing directly to value creation.
  • May supervise lower-level engineers and performs additional duties as required.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in engineering, physics, imaging science/remote sensing, or a related technical field.
  • Extensive 25+ years' experience in space system research, development, modeling, and simulation.
  • 15+ years' experience with GEOINT systems and satellite development in low or high earth systems.
  • Expertise in GEOINT space systems, major space system performance, and knowledge of NRO processes.
  • Familiarity with system design trade processes, analysis of mission requirements, and system performance tracking.
  • Proven experience in interacting with development contractors, design reviews, technical proposals evaluation, and test plan development.
  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional communication skills.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance (ability to obtain a CI poly).
