\tProduction Technician Trainees are responsible for the production of quality, formulated products in a safe and efficient manner. They use knowledge of products, raw materials, and operating procedures to control equipment that processes substances into specified products.\r

\tYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r

\t\tResponsible for the safe operation of chemical processing equipment.\r
\t\r
\t\tRead and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Stages raw and finished materials.\r
\t\r
\t\tTakes required samples during production process.\r
\t\r
\t\tDecontaminates equipment and piping for maintenance or disposal.\r
\t\r
\t\tUtilizes Personal Protective Equipment Matrix.\r
\t\r
\t\tMaintains inventories of disposable, production, and safety related materials.\r
\t\r
\t\tRecognizes material compatibilities.\r
\t\r
\t\tConducts charging and filing operations.\r
\t\r
\t\tMaintains plant Hazard Communication labeling program.\r
\t\r
\t\tPerforms general housekeeping duties throughout the plant area.\r
\t\r
\t\tAssists in product changeover activities.\r
\t\r
\t\tResponsible for plant/unit operations and safety equipment. Recognizes and operates basic process elements.\r
\t\r
\t\tRCRA hazardous waste regulations, waste determinations, waste codes, and how to immediately communicate discovery of spills and leaks. Handles waste and other contaminated trash per SOP.\r
\t\r
\t\tResponsible for labeling, inspection, and recordkeeping requirements to accumulate waste in satellite accumulation areas, containers, and tanks.\r
\t\r
\t\tOperates forklifts;\r
\t\r
\t\tOperates shuttle wagon and radio communication during rail movement operations;\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to pass a post-offer physical and perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.\r
