Golf Course Superintendent

Eagle Lakes Golf Club in Naples, Florida is looking for an experienced hands on working golf course superintendent who can lead a crew, has strong work ethic and all the knowledge necessary to take a course to another level. We are 18 hole daily fee par 72 course that is in the middle of a regrass of fairways, tees, roughs and green surrounds. Experience in regrass or grow in is a plus and experience with Toro irrigation which we just installed to help with the grow in.

The superintendent will report to the Director of Golf/General Manager. Many operations and routines established by the former superintendent must be revamped. We are set to get a new fleet of mowers, equipment and transports so the superintendent will need to establish policies and procedures to keep them in shape. Experience in reel grinding, bedknives and ability to train the assistants would be a plus.

Our ideal candidate can embrace their crew and help the leadership carryout their vison for the golf course. Planning, organizing, leading, controlling and growing grass will be instrumental skills to make this happen.

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree
  • Chemical/Spray License or Certification
  • Monday thru Friday and Rotating Weekends
  • 50-60 hours a week
  • Work outside in heat and elements
  • Lift 50+ pounds
  • Operate sprayers, mowers, tractors
