Work Schedule:
- 3 x 8 hour shifts: Weekdays 6:30am- 3:00pm and every other weekend

Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate specimen acceptability based on set criteria
- Conduct routine and complex technical procedures following Standard Operating Procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot instrumentation ensuring proper functionality
- Make technical decisions on testing and troubleshooting
- Test and assess new reagents/controls
- Deliver precise and timely test results for quality patient care
- Perform and document maintenance and quality control procedures
- Replenish bench supplies as necessary
- Assist with specimen processing as required
- Maintain a safe work environment, using appropriate protective gear
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Lab Science, or meet local regulatory requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Computer proficiency; Knowledge of laboratory information systems a plus
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
- Pass standardized color vision screen
- Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed
