Data Scientist (AI/ML) - Finance Division

Location: Remote USA

Position Overview

The domain of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) represents one of the most dynamic and expansive fronts of technological advancement at Autodesk. With a strategic focus on this arena, especially within our finance operations, we are gearing up to redefine industry standards and elevate operational excellence with AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Forge partnerships across interdisciplinary teams to foster data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze complex datasets from diverse sources.
  • Develop ML models to unearth actionable insights and automate financial processes.
  • Design impactful AI products that enhance and streamline our financial operations.
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment that bridges AI innovations with financial and operational strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Proven ability to navigate and excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • minimum of 4 years of Python development and familiar with machine learning packages and statistical methods.
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and foundational AI models.
  • Advanced knowledge in deep learning and reinforcement learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Tableau for dashboard creation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data modeling, processing, and analytics.
  • You are passionate and driven, quick to adapt and eager to learn from multiple enterprise functions.
  • You enjoy collaborative work with an interest in developing real-world AI applications with cross-functional impacts.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $136,000 and $220,000. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
