As a Sales Engineer, you will be working with prospective clients to understand their current challenges and help guide them with solutions and architectures to solve real problems. The Sales Engineer position offers an exciting combination of learning and demonstrating bleeding edge technologies, joining a highly collaborative team that works together with a best-in-class proven platform.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Engage with customers to understand challenges, goals and existing technical landscape
  • Deliver demonstrations, workshops, proof-of-concepts and content to help customers define, evaluate and implement solutions to their problems
  • Act as evangelist and subject matter expert on Gravitee's platform, product strategy and API management best practises
  • Collaborate on content creation, webinar presentations and conferences

ESSENTIAL SKILLS - The right candidate will possess at least the following skills, if not more:

  • Some coding or scripting experience (e.g Java, Python, JavaScript)
  • Strong understanding of REST, JSON, XML, CI/CD concepts and bash/shell
  • Foundational understanding of OAuth2, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and GraphQL
  • Experience with at least one of AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present advanced technical topics to a variety of audiences
  • Hunger and passion to explore, learn and master new technologies
  • Mentality to win and becoming the best on what you do

DESIRED SKILLS - Additionally, these skills are not required, but preferable:

  • Experience with API management, API gateway and event broker technologies
  • Experience in technical customer facing roles in either customer success, professional services or solutions engineering roles
  • Experience with AI/LLM technologies and frameworks
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions
  • European language skills are always a plus
