Job Summary: The Call Center Customer Service Assistant is responsible for handling customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests via phone, email, or chat. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to resolve issues promptly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding products and services.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges according to company policies.
- Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or supervisors when necessary.
- Provide feedback on recurring issues to help improve customer service processes.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies to provide informed assistance to customers.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets set by the call center management.
- Assist in training new team members when required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using customer service software, databases, and tools.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
