TikTok Shop—Electronics, Office, and Books—is looking for a retail champion to help us build our business and drive the growth of our category. This role sits in our larger Category Operations team, which supports key and enterprise accounts, social sellers, and emerging brands. About the role:
We are seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our US commercial team and contribute to the development of a thriving social commerce ecosystem for buyers, sellers, and creators. The role of Incubation Community Manager—Electronics, Office, and Books involves providing strategic guidance and mentorship to improve resource accessibility, creating and implementing tailored support initiatives, monitoring progress, and fostering a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and success. You will collaborate closely with category managers, creator specialists, and cross-functional partners to pitch, educate, and onboard sellers onto TikTok Shop.
Responsibilities: Focus on newly onboarded high-potential sellers on TikTok Shop, develop an incubation strategy to foster sustainable growth and success throughout their lifecycle. Identify opportunities to enhance the incubation program experience for community-managed sellers through scalable solutions, and support the implementation of these initiatives.
Conduct in-depth analyses to understand seller segments and root causes impacting seller performance, providing valuable seller insights for product development and process enhancements. Manage channel communication and seller interactions, utilizing instant messaging and other methods for mass account management activities such as forecasting, issue resolution, seller education, and incubation program oversight. Curate and disseminate knowledge to promote best practices across internal and external teams.
Develop e-commerce content guidelines and seller success strategies, including video and Live content, offering strategic content recommendations and support to community-managed sellers.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience of e-commerce business management
- Strong knowledge of the US e-commerce landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution and mobile transformation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in a highly results-oriented environment with external customer interaction is required.
- A good team player, fast learner, and open to changes.
- Attention to detail, affinity with numbers, be logical and strong at problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mixed experience in both marketplace platform and brand side is highly preferred.
- 2+ years experience in e-commerce merchandising, live and short video content strategy, or account management
-Familiar with TikTok and other content platforms; experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred. Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $143555 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
