The Financial Accounting Analyst Sr is responsible for preparing and supporting the oversight of the financial records of the company, including financial close, analysis, research, and reporting, as well as providing project leadership.

How you will make an impact:
  • Prepares, reviews, and approves journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Manages close processes, related analysis, and reporting.
  • Prepares and reviews monthly and quarterly financial reports and complex analysis.
  • Responsible for initiation and resolution of complex accounting problems requiring technical expertise.
  • Responsible for providing technical leadership and setting strategic direction of projects.
  • Designs research plans for data gathering and analysis and manages projects to deadlines.
  • May lead teams of associates.
  • Mentors, trains, and coaches lower-level accountants.
  • Monitors, updates, and tracks policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:

Requires BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in general accounting, finance or budgeting and planning in a large for-profit organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft, Deltek Costpoint, IBM Cognos, and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience supporting audits.
  • Previous work experience with month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and federal government contracting accounting principles preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $77,868 to $133,488
