Job Overview

Position Summary:

This role encompasses a variety of analytical, accounting, and auditing responsibilities, along with the creation and upkeep of financial reports. A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential for success in this position. The individual will report directly to the CFO and must demonstrate the ability to operate independently while complying with departmental and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research, monitor, analyze, and assess financial, performance, industry, and economic data.
  • Construct predictive financial models to aid in decision-making.
  • Design forecasting tools to streamline data analysis processes.
  • Identify trends, evaluate risks, predict business outcomes, and formulate recommendations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports supported by data to assist the management team.
  • Support the management team in making informed strategic business decisions and identifying operational efficiencies.
  • Execute audits of contracts and operational processes.
  • Perform analysis to determine the feasibility of leasing versus purchasing.
  • Document and establish policies and procedures.
  • Provide backup support to other team members as needed.
  • Engage in various projects as directed by the CFO or Executive Director.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline is required, along with a combination of education and experience. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degrees is advantageous. CPA or CFA certifications are also preferred.
