Our Airborne RF Sensors Department has an immediate opportunity for a Principal Systems Engineer with experience in radar system analysis and mode development.

You will work with other team members to develop, test, integrate, and validate software improvements for the Silent Knight Radar System.

We have a dynamic team that adapts our work to ever-evolving customer requirements and contracts. We have an excellent relationship with our customer and operate as a high-performing team to maintain our customer rapport.

This is an On-Site role in McKinney, Texas

What You Will Do

  • Significant productspecific knowledge transfer from radar Subject Matter Experts
  • Develop novel radar models, simulations, and algorithms
  • Work directly with software team to troubleshoot algorithms
  • Operate radars in a test environment to validate simulations and software
  • Analyze flight test data and identify algorithm improvements
  • Present work products to internal team and external customer
  • Track work progress using Agileenvironment task database
  • Validate requirements in a Flight Test Environment
  • Perform independent technical analysis to generate highquality work products according to a schedule and with minimal supervision
  • Work within a structured Systems Engineering process environment including a taskoriented, valuebased management system
Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience with specific experience in the following areas:
  • Radar system analysis and mode development to include requirements development, requirements management, radar algorithm development, verification and validation of algorithms, and flight test data analysis
  • General Systems Engineering experience to include requirements and algorithm development, modeling and simulation, verification and validation, and data analysis
  • Experience in computer programming languages such as MATLAB, NumPy, Octave, SciLab, or MathCAD
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Terrain Following concepts, algorithms, and supporting navigational modes used on special operations platforms
  • MATLAB (analysis), DOORS (requirements) and Synergy/Bitbucket (configuration management)
  • Requirements verification/validation in a Flight Test Environment
  • Knowledge creating work products in an Agile development environment

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
