California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) seeks a Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) to manage the Administration and Reporting (A&R) duties of the California Employers' Retiree Benefit Trust (CERBT) and the California Employers' Pension Prefunding Trust (CEPPT) funds which is organized within the Prefunding Programs section of the CalPERS Financial Office.

The CERBT & CEPPT funds are Internal Revenue Section 115 Trust Funds dedicated to prefunding employer Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) and employer pension contributions for eligible California public agencies. Employer participation in these trust funds is voluntary which requires excellent customer service and organizational skills to ensure operations and administration of the Funds process accurately.

The SSM I, under direction from the Program Manager, performs the daily oversight of the administrative processes and operations, such as contributions, disbursements, actuarial valuation data collection, quarterly statements, contract facilitation, and responds to Employer inquiries.
