The primary purpose of this role is to develop new business and drive growth with existing customers by identifying target companies and stakeholders within the companies to develop new relationships

Responsibilities:

Identifying new sales opportunities and driving revenue through face-to-face and telephone outbound sales to new prospects and lapsed customers. (35%) Masterfully managing an existing portfolio of clients to maximize both revenue and profits. (25%) Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue and profit quotas and lead indicator performance metrics. (25%) Become a master of Dynata products and services and how to customize these products for different business customer segments through a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements. (15%) -

Education:

BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred

Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience

Scope of Impact

Experience identifying new business opportunities, building relationships and developing profitable sales. Ability to consult and find the best solution for client needs from Dynata's products and services.

Strategic Planning

Identifies and solves a range of problems in straightforward situations. Analyzes possible solutions and assesses each using standard procedures. Responds to nonstandard requests from internal and/or external customers; investigates with assistance from others as needed. Makes decisions within guidelines and policies that impact own priorities and allocation of time to meet deadlines." Creates plans to develop new business, capture the attention of new logos. Plan for individual clients at the account level to develop and grow new business.

Customer Focus

Responds to non-standard requests from customers; investigates with assistance from others as needed. Effectively communicates information and checks for understanding. Gains support from colleagues for ideas/initiatives. Interprets customer inquiries or requests and takes appropriate action to produce high levels of customer satisfaction" focused on the customer experience from first introduction to onboarding and first project. The BD will be the face of the company and will be responsible for working with various teams to ensure a great experience.

The base salary range for this position is $55K-$65k with a 50% sales variable. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
