Key job responsibilities

As a product manager in Outbound, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining the vision for our automated marketing products, and working with marketing, engineering, science, and design to achieve that vision
  • Diving into data to understand areas of opportunity, defects, and customer needs
  • Owning the customer backlog and prioritizing deliverables
  • Communicating and earning trust with senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple Amazon organizations
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Proven track record of building new, innovative, and engaging customer experiences informed by customer data from various sources (market research, internal data bases, A/B testing, user research)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience owning and driving large scale cross-functional programs of which 3+ in a tech/software (or equivalent) role.
  • 2+ years of experience working on the B2C discovery experience (e.g. search, personalization, email/push marketing) for an online shopping service
  • Experience working with Machine Learning technology
  • Proven success in delivering technology products/services in a legacy/mature system environment, working with software engineers and scientists
  • Ability to prioritize activities in complex programs, and influence stakeholders, at times with limited direct authority
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
