Job Description

The Electrical Manufacturing Engineer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop, evaluate, and refine electrical-mechanical systems for various instruments.Assist production and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and upkeep of automated processes.Engineer electro-mechanical fixtures to enhance production and assembly-line efficiency.Participate in design failure analyses, contributing to risk assessments, hazard analyses, and FMEAs.Collaborate with supply chain to identify and source replacements for End-of-Life components.Manage ECOs for electrical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and procedures. Update as necessary.Determine and recommend equipment and subsystems to optimize new and existing manufacturing processes.Work closely with Electrical and Software/Firmware teamsApply programming skills (e.g., Visual Basic, VBA, C, Python) and knowledge of serial communications (RS-232, I2C, SPI).Familiarity with regulatory compliance, EMI, and safety testing protocols is preferred.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Electrical Manufacturing Engineer will have the following background:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field5+ years of experience with Electrical, Systems or Electronics manufacturingExperience with testing and systems engineering Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to fix equipment Experience reading, creating and modifying schematics
