Job Description This position provides needed support to the Labor Shop, to maintain cleanliness, and provide fire watch services aboard vessels in both the yard and away from the yard.


Activities of the position require active, physical work involving cleaning, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, walking, and standing, for extended periods of time.


This position requires the selected candidate to work and perform in both indoor and outdoor environments and will expose the candidate to variable and adverse weather conditions.

Exposure to loud noises, vibrations, fumes, & airborne particles.

This position will require continuous use of ear protection, eye protection and other safety equipment.


The selected candidate must exhibit the ability to follow written and oral instructions and work without constant supervision and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

Exhibit and maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and customers. Obey all policies and procedures of the company and its employee handbook is essential.


The selected candidate will be expected to lead by example, be punctual, consistently conveying a positive attitude and pride in their work.
