Job purpose
The specialist role in Talent Management & Succession supports all aspects of the enterprise Global Talent Development Process (GTDP). This role serves within the Corporate HR Center of Excellence; Talent, Culture and HRIS (TCH) at BorgWarner Inc. The role includes supporting development and execution of communications, processes, materials, and initiatives that are focused on building the organization's talent pipeline.

Key responsibilities

Builds the talent pipeline. Contributes to the development and implementation of talent management & succession-focused, "Global Talent Development Process". Supports content design, process development and tools that identify and assess high-potential talent for leadership roles.

Administers process standards and governance for HR and leaders. Curates, maintains and continuously improves GTDP content/materials, processes; assists HRIS Sr specialist with Workday technology updates. Includes developing process documentation, work instructions, job aids, needs assessments, training/educational materials and surveys. Maintains repository of user guides, documentation and where talent information is housed (OneDrive, SharePoint, Workday, Spark Learning).

Enables internal talent placement decisions. Supports communication and administration aspects of talent reviews and mobility meetings across a range of business functions and across the organization (Talent Marketplace).

Analyzes and depicts talent data. Provides relevant data analysis and metrics to support talent reviews, executive presentations, organizational reporting and DE&I.

Engages stakeholders. Collaborates and supports work involving a broad range of stakeholders. Communicates and informs the HR community, and other functional areas as needed to build GTDP process capabilities.

Assists in HR and talent-related initiatives. Contributor to projects/project teams as assigned.

Provides project management support. Outlines and tracks tasks and activities associated with GTDP initiatives and events. Project manages information needed to execute processes with vendor partners.

What we're looking for

Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field (Reqiured). Advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, business, or related field is preferred

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

.

Strong drive for results with project management skills, high level of attention to detail.

Highly competent in visual design and data analysis. Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret, summarize, and make conclusions based on data.

Effective verbal and written communication skills, relating to a wide range of audience; Informs stakeholders regularly along process

Strong technology expertise including Microsoft Office Suite, able to quickly learn and leverage other technology platforms; HRIS systems (Workday preferred), OneDrive, SharePoint, and social media.

Resourceful in problem solving

Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when managing sensitive employee information.
