We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced AEM Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in driving the design, development, and implementation of AEM solutions for our clients.

Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, this multinational chain of coffeehouses and roastery reserves was established in 1971. Currently, this customer holds the world's most significant coffeehouse chain title.

Requirements

  • 7 years of background in AEM Development, including custom component development and integration with the AEM platform
  • Proven experience as an AEM Architect or similar role
  • Expertise in AEM Core Components
  • Knowledge of AEM administration, including user permissions, configurations, and system maintenance
  • Skills in troubleshooting and performance optimization of AEM sites
  • Competency in optimizing and customizing workflows with InDesign Server. Ability to troubleshoot 3rd party services with AEM, particularly InDesign Server
  • General understanding of Java, HTML, JavaScript (e.g., Angular, React), and other relevant technologies used in AEM development
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, and CI/CD processes

Nice to Have

  • Certification, Adobe Experience Manager Sites Architect, Master Level are strongly desired
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience with AEM As A Cloud Service ("AEMaaCS"), including solution architecture, migrations from AEM On-Premise or AEM Managed Services to AEMaaCS - strongly preferred
  • Proficiency developing in Adobe AEM/CQ products (WCM, DAM, CQSE, CRX)
  • Expertise with Apache Sling and working with Sling Models

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of AEM-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
  • Develop back-end code in a timely and high-quality manner while leveraging site standards, including site structure, page templates, navigation, and site information architecture.
  • Build AEM authoring components and templates. Utilize AEM to layout pages, troubleshoot issues, and train authors of the system.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams.
  • Ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure the quality of the deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AEM.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AEM features, updates, and industry trends.
