Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is a premiere clinical and academic health system, providing expert pediatric care for infants, children and teens with some of the most challenging medical problems.

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital has 259 beds in our teaching hospital, with more than half devoted to intensive care level services, and we are the regional pediatric referral center for Florida's west coast. Physicians and community hospitals count on us to care for critically ill patients and perform complex surgical procedures. Through collaborations, we manage neonatology and other pediatric services at several community hospitals along Florida's west coast.

The goal of the Central Pharmacist I is to promote the safe and effective use of medications by working collaboratively with the pharmacy team. This position contributes to the goals of the department by overseeing the preparation and dispensing of medications in order to provide safe medication therapy to our patients. Along with other members of the health care team, this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high standards of care provided by JHACH.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education
    • Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Pharm.D. or BSPharm
  • Relevant Experience
    • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred
    • Hospital experience preferred
    • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Licensure/Certification
  • Eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Florida required. Must be obtained prior to start date.
  • PALS certification preferred.
