The Central Pharmacist I plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective utilization of medications through collaboration with the pharmacy team.
This position is integral to the department's objectives, overseeing the preparation and distribution of medications to guarantee safe therapeutic practices for our patients.
Working alongside other healthcare professionals, this role is accountable for achieving patient outcomes that align with the high standards of care upheld by JHACH.

Education:
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Pharm.
D. or BSPharm
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency is preferred
- Experience in a hospital setting is preferred
- Pediatric experience is preferred
Licensure/Certification:
- Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in the State of Florida is required, to be obtained prior to employment.
- PALS certification is preferred.
