The Central Pharmacist I plays a vital role in fostering the safe and effective utilization of medications through collaborative efforts with the pharmacy team.
This position is essential in achieving departmental objectives by supervising the preparation and distribution of medications, ensuring safe therapeutic practices for our patients.
In conjunction with other healthcare professionals, this role is accountable for patient outcomes that align with the high standards of care upheld by JHACH.

Education:
Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Pharm.
D. or BSPharm
Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency is preferred
Experience in a hospital setting is preferred
Pediatric experience is preferred
Licensure/Certification:
Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in the State of Florida is required, to be obtained prior to commencement.
PALS certification is preferred.
