Compensation: $175-200K + 20% Bonus
One of Vaco's construction client's is looking to onboard a Regional Accounting Controller as an effort to add an additional layer of support for both new and existing companies they own - this is a highly-acquisitive, PE-backed operation with a strong growth trajectory.
This role will have oversight over 4-5 smaller companies, ensuring a smooth month-end close and responsible for A-Z accounting for those entities. Candidates must possess an understanding of construction-related concepts including WIP/POC.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Perform in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability assessments. Prepare and present detailed financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities. Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate business strategies, financial models, and investment opportunities.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational performance. Analyze data to provide actionable insights and drive improvements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and planning functions.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as requested by senior management or other departments.

Pay Transparency Notice
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
