POSITION DUTIES

General Purpose: The project manager will lead the day-to-day management of analysis, idea-\r
generation activities, and initiative development and implementation for the Innovation Team.\r
\r
\r
Responsibilities:\r
\r
\r
Collaborate with a Chief Innovation Officer, Deputy Director, and other Innovation Team\r
members to improve the lives of Marylanders�\r
Consult with internal and external experts to fully understand issue areas and generate\r
innovative, feasible solutions�\r
Research specific policy areas that are priorities of the Innovation Team, the State and\r
Governor's Office��\r
Develop detailed implementation plans and ensure effective and efficient delivery of\r
solutions to meet specific targets\r
Establish strong relationships with partners, including government officials, private and\r
nonprofit sector leaders, and residents��\r
Effectively monitor progress of workstreams and communicate across the team as appropriate��\r
Support team members in the development and execution of implementation plans for Innovation Team projects�\r
Maintain a high level of organization to coordinate projects across the Innovation Team�\r
Assist with questions, needs, and concerns – internally and externally - by handling,\r
delegating, or escalating incoming as appropriate��\r
Other duties and projects as assigned\r

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have demonstrated many or preferably all of the following:\r

Experience defining and managing projects alongside diverse stakeholders who are\r
instrumental to successful delivery�\r
Track record of delivering results in a high-pressure environment and for multiple\r
workstreams\r
Problem solving skills and an ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions to\r
maintain timelines and meet deadlines\r
Passion for public service and making a positive difference in the lives of Marylanders\r
Understanding of the civic innovation space�\r
Ability to navigate an ambiguous environment with excitement and enthusiasm�\r
A track record of demonstrating and successfully applying the following characteristics:\r
