In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance regulations, TD operational procedures and practical application of the regulations.

Ability to execute compliance procedures and screenings.

Ownership of regulatory compliance "managed services" for specific accounts.

Process and performance analysis, reporting and trending.

Internal "Business Analyst" for internal departmental projects, coordinated global departmental projects.

Significant contributor of Regulatory Compliance systems development, policies, and processes.

Process regulatory compliance screening on complex export transactions (i.e. Encryption, etc.) including compliance decisions relative to gov't end users and escalations.

Determine and maintain screening, classification and customer/carrier approval lists.

Manage day to day ownership of complex/special customer projects.

IT Super user as IT relates to DCS, export Application, AES direct / PC Link, etc.

Ownership of specific compliance projects (ECCN, HTS).

Partner with Sales, Product Management, Operations, and IT groups to develop processes supporting Import, Export, Hazmat and Cash Compliance.

Drive operational performance projects to completion.

Generate and maintain metric reports and establish operational trends.

Performs additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

Bachelors degree (International Business or any related field preferred),

minimum 4-5 years experience in importing and exporting technology products.

Concentrated understanding of TD SYNNEX order flow, supply chain and logistics. (3yrs) preferred

Extensive knowledge of export administration regulations including ECCN classification and demonstrated knowledge/understanding of the encryption regulations. (4yrs min)

Exercises a high level of independent thinking and problem solving capabilities.

Empowered to provide interpretation of Regulations to internal and external business partners.

Able to initiate, develop, execute and implement operational performance projects as well as technical projects.

Independent worker on daily orders/activities, proactively seeking operational improvement.

Completion of performance projects improve operational output and reduces compliance defects and associated risk - company wide.

High level of impact on regulatory compliance operations/execution process.

High level of impact on logistic operations for specific customer base.

Process improvement or program management skills

Advanced computer skills including database.

Background with Encryption is preferred.

Licensed customs broker preferred.

Possesses strong knowledge of both US customs regulations, and the Export Administration Regulations.

Ability to train team members and various TD SYNNEX departments.

Ability to build solid cross functional, cross geographical internal and external working relationships.

Ability to present issues and recommendations to management and team.

Highly self motivated towards regular job duties, project goals and process improvement.

High level of analysis, evaluation and problem solving.

High ability to draw conclusions and decisions based on regulatory reasoning and practical application of the regulations.
