Manager of Customer Story Writing, you'll play a crucial role in crafting compelling narratives that highlight Salesforce customers' most impactful use cases and successes.

This role is ideal for a skilled writer who excels at transforming complex technical stories into engaging, influential narratives.

You'll be part of a talented team dedicated to uncovering and writing about our customers' challenges and successes with Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

Story Production:


Write and edit customer stories, ensuring alignment with the latest messaging and showcasing inspiring use cases in a clear, differentiated, and relatable manner.

Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, creative, product, and sales, to ensure a cohesive and strategic approach to storytelling.


Team Collaboration:
Work closely with a team of story producers, guiding them in understanding the Salesforce business, product portfolio, and offerings.
Contribute to a collaborative environment that fosters excellence in storytelling.

Strategic Collaboration:


Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure stories align with broader business goals and resonate across various platforms and audiences.

Develop a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and products, and work cross-functionally with cloud leaders and experts to showcase the best stories across use cases and industries.


Content Marketing:


Support the development of strategic marketing strategies to distribute stories across key channels and target audiences, such as social media, blogs, and the web.

Storytelling Expertise:


A knack for storytelling, particularly in capturing technical use cases into marketable narratives that engage, persuade, and are easy to understand.

Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical details in a clear, compelling manner.
Content Creation

Experience:


Proven experience in writing and editing content in a marketing, communications, or related field, with a strong emphasis on technical product marketing and customer engagement.


Independent and Adaptable:
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, keeping up with industry trends and technological advancements.
Proficient in outbound outreach, skilled in handling objections, and adept at finding win-win scenarios through understanding and aligned priorities.

Experience:
