Job Description:

This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes. The job establishes testing scope and coordinates test execution. Key responsibilities of the job include overseeing testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, conditioning and generating test data, building and executing both manual and automated test suites, recording and communicating the test results, triage defects, and ensuring regression test suites are maintained and well designed.

Overview:

The Quality Specialist II participates in the creation/execution of test plans and test scripts within Quality Center/JIRA. Conducts functional and/or regression testing of new or modified applications and systems. Testing may encompass manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities:Develops detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirementsLeads test planning, usually at a team level. When part of a Scrum team, ensure stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteriaLeads test case reviews and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverageIdentifies automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test typesExecutes test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test resultsDesigns test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environmentsUses testing tools and follow processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and perform necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environmentsRequired Qualifications:3-5+ years of experience with functional, regression, and end to end testing3-5+ years of experience with JIRAExperience with Agile testingExcellent Communication skillsExcellent Analytical AbilitiesAbility to work on multiple projects concurrently and independentlySolid experience with Selenium/Java automationDesired Qualifications:Bachelor s degree or equivalent, preferably in a technical or engineering disciplineExperience with mobile testing and/or credit card processingSkills:Analytical ThinkingApplication DevelopmentAutomationBusiness AcumenTest EngineeringInfluenceSolution Delivery ProcessStakeholder ManagementTechnical Strategy DevelopmentUser Experience DesignAgile PracticesArchitectureCollaborationDevOps PracticesSolution DesignShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40
