We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our Facilities and Yard Automation team. As a Product Manager, Yard Management, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch and beyond. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to drive the development and success of our products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and customer empathy to deliver innovative solutions that meet market needs and drive business growth.

The primary responsibility for this Product Manager role is to continue the growth and adoption of FourKites DynamicYard+ solution, optimizing and automating the tasks required to successfully manage trailer inventory and operations within the yard of a facility.

What you'll be doing:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify market opportunities, user needs, and product requirements.
  • Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and customer impact.
  • Requirements Definition: Translate product vision and customer feedback into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define product specifications, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key product metrics, analyze user feedback, and iterate on product features to optimize user experience and drive product adoption.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product updates, priorities, and timelines to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field; MBA desirable but not required.
  • Proven experience in product management, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products from conception to delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product plans.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical proficiency and understanding of software development processes; experience with Agile methodologies preferred.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding user needs and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
