Support for research activities - independently or in collaboration with faculty colleagues - is available throughout the broad range of the academic disciplines at Duke University to meet the goals and interests of this new faculty member.Join a rich training environment at Duke, with participation by students, residents, and fellows.Candidate provides orthopaedic emergency coverage in the Duke University Health System, which includes Duke University Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center with 4100 trauma activations per year.Faculty appointment with the Duke School of Medicine at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
Board certified or board eligible orthopaedic surgeon fellowship trained in Pediatric Orthopaedics.The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.A commitment to excellent patient care, as well as teaching, scholarship, research, and leadership on local, national, and international levels.
