About the Opportunity

Duke Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible pediatric orthopaedic surgeon to join our team. As a faculty member, you will be part of a rich training environment at Duke University, with opportunities to participate in teaching, research, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide orthopaedic emergency coverage in the Duke University Health System, including Duke University Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center.
  • Support research activities, independently or in collaboration with faculty colleagues, to meet the goals and interests of the new faculty member.
  • Join a team of academically oriented, board certified or board eligible orthopaedic surgeons fellowship trained in Pediatric Orthopaedics.
Requirements
  • Board certification or board eligibility in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopaedics.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
  • A commitment to excellent patient care, teaching, scholarship, research, and leadership on local, national, and international levels.
