Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description

The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for understanding and capturing customer requirements and creating new designs to meet project needs. This includes performing analysis on Units Under Test (UUTs) to understand their functionality and determine test requirements. Designing interface adapters and implementing test requirements will form a key part of this role. The successful candidate will generate object-oriented software to control test stations or test systems, perform troubleshooting as needed, and assist in the mentoring of less experienced engineers.

Hard Skills

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science (BSCE, BSEE or BSCS)
  • 10+ years' experience with Test and Measurement and software-defined architectures, including object-oriented design
  • Experience with software development in C#
  • Ability to demonstrate Object Oriented Design practices
  • Knowledge in performing root cause analysis and recommending correct action to resolve test failures
  • Extensive experience with using communication and/or bench test equipment to include but not limited to spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators
  • Knowledge and ability to demonstrate the understanding and methods of RF measurements

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work within a group and individual environment
  • Capability to interface with customers and perform occasional travel

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Orlando, Florida.

Work Environment

The work schedule is 9/80, meaning every other Friday off. Travel and customer interface may be required.
