RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts for the venue.
  • Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, month end closure.
  • Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
  • Responding to information requests for produced financial statements, and assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Presenting and communicating Financial statements, reports, and updates to Senior Leadership
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Assisting Controller and CFO with any projects as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as needed.
SPECIALIZED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • At least two years' experience in accounting or a related field
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read and analyze financial reports
  • Strong understanding of US tax regulations
  • Working knowledge of relevant Financial software, Ottimate and PlateIQ preferred.

Work Environment The work environment for this position will be a traditional Monday-Friday 9am-5pm role. This positions requires in office work with prolonged time sitting and looking at a screen. Nights and or weekends are only required during the home football games.
Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
