What you'll do

One of SAP's strategic customers has initiated a transformation program, part of which is to consume their entire SAP landscape as enhanced private cloud model provided by SAP with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest SAP HANA-based systems. To provide the right level of service, a dedicated team has been set up within SAP Enterprise Cloud Services to work for this strategic client. The goal of this team is to operate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption as the customer is at the start of a large-scale multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation program.

As an IT Architecture Expert, you are responsible to

Take on the role of an Expert architect and lead the design and delivery of complex architecture requirements from start to finish. Play a crucial role in our customers' transition to S/4, with a strong emphasis on achieving a target architecture, ensuring highest delivery quality, and minimizing downtime during the conversion process. Provide support for daily challenges and handle escalations, both internally and with the customer

What you bring

Technical

Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management. Strong proficiency in SAP Technologies and Products, with a preference for candidates holding SAP technical certifications. Exceptional expertise in BASIS, HANA, SUSE (preferably with Pacemaker), with a minimum of 10 years' experience in BASIS, including 5 years in a large customer landscape. S/4 specialist incl, Fiori, embedded gateway, large conversations Advantageous to have SAP functional expertise. Thorough understanding and proficiency in hyperscaler infrastructure, tools, and processes, with a minimum of 5 years' experience preferred. Preferably a security specialist, with knowledge in areas such as encryption, authentication, certifications, and security hardening for applications, databases, operating systems, and infrastructure

Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, placing their needs and preferences at the forefront. Possesses exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling effective communication and prompt resolution of issues. Capable of explaining complex technical concepts to individuals without a technical background, displaying confidence and clarity. Comfortable in high-pressure situations, consistently delivering value to both customers and the organization. Committed to upholding the highest standards of technical consulting and customer interactions, ensuring top-quality service at all times.

Work experience

10+ years in the area of SAP technology (e.g. as technical consultant or TQM) Working in designing technical architecture including system landscape design, business consulting or others Working in customer-facing roles, preferably to exec level

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
