Position Summary

This position plays an essential role by assembling metal components according to specification. You will use various tools, machinery, and a guide to follow instructions on completing assigned tasks.

Have a full understanding when reading and interpreting prints, instructions, and symbols, along with geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part. Ability to set up and weld complex assemblies, using mig welders and spot welders. Ability to set up and run the paint line including hanging and removing parts on the paint line, ensuring product is prepped for packaging Accurately inputting job data into internal system Operate machinery such as Snip it and Break Press machines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Knowledge & Skills

Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Working knowledge of the metalworking processes A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. General production floor experience preferred, with emphasis in a metalworking setting

Qualifications

High School or GED required Previous experience in metal fabrication, machining, or related field preferred. 1 year of machine operation experience, preferably Strip It, Break Press, or sanding machines experience preferred 1 year experience with CNC Punch Press, MIG Welding and Powder Coating preferred
