Texas, United States The US Oncology Network Full time
Overview

Texas Oncology is looking to hire a Hematologist/Oncologist for a new location in East Texas.

This physician will work in Nacogdoches where the organization is developing a strong presence with the full support of the local hospital community.

Nacogdoches is an underserved community that will benefit greatly from the support of the largest cancer care practice in the state of Texas.

This position is being hired through the Tyler office but will be fully housed in Nacogdoches.

This physician will have access to cutting edge medicine through The US Oncology Network's clinical trial program in conjunction with Sarah Cannon Research Institute.

This site will have in-house chemotherapy, and radiation referrals can be handled by the local hospital.

Nacogdoches is a historic community in the piney woods of East Texas.

It is the oldest settlement in the state dating back to 1779 and was at one time home to Texas pioneer Sam Houston.

It is home to Stephen F. Austin State University providing it a college town feel with lots of local year-round activity. Nacogdoches has several dining spots, a boutique downtown area with shops and a historic hotel.

It also enjoys a strong school system and a busy local economy making it a great place to both work and live.

Geographically, this vibrant community is 20 miles from Lufkin, 2 hours from Houston and 3 hours from Dallas.

Texas Oncology is the largest independently owned cancer care practice in the United States with over 600 physicians. We offer a competitive starting salary with a full suite of benefits and a realistic path to partnership.
