About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Texas Oncology. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with practice management to provide support on operational projects, including site Quality Committees, Quality Oncology Practice Initiative site assessments, Advancing Care Information, and the Oncology Care Model (OCM).
  • Facilitate the implementation and/or utilization of outcomes data and evidence-based practices to ensure clinical operations and practice are consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement standardized best practices within the organization, ensuring practice standards of care are consistent with community standards of care.
  • Assess staffing levels and issues, patient flow, and current practices in the clinical setting, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and quality of care.
  • Develop and implement company-wide clinical competency testing and skills validation programs.
  • Coordinate employee staffing, including vacations, sick leave, and overtime, and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.
  • RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
  • Minimum 5 years actively practicing as a registered nurse.
  • 5 years of leadership experience.
  • OCN certification preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
