Director of Learning & Development

The mission of our Learning & Development team is threefold: make project44 a career destination of choice; deliver high-impact career development; and fuel growth and innovation from a diverse perspective.

This is an exceptionally exciting time to join our Leaning & Development team, as we are actively building programming to support our rapidly growing global organization. As a Learning & Development Director, you will directly influence the growth of our organization and accelerate the career trajectory of our talented team members.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Director of Learning & Development, you will oversee the three core pillars of our learning and development strategy:

  1. Management & Leadership Development: Create leadership and management development training programs that empower our managers to act as multipliers of talent and drive our organization forward.
  2. Business Training: Design, deliver, and continuously improve business-focused training programs that enhance our team's skills and contribute to our overall success.
  3. Onboarding: Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding programs that ensure seamless integration of new team members into our organization, setting them up for success from day one.

Key Accountabilities:

  • End-to-End Training Programming: Take ownership of training programs from inception to execution, including coordination, communication, design, delivery, measurement, and iterative improvements.
  • Needs Assessment: Identify key learning objectives and measurable outcomes for each training program, collaborating closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to align on organizational skill gaps and training needs.
  • Content Design: Develop high-impact and creative content, learning activities, and programming that engage and inspire our team members.
  • Facilitation: Facilitate training sessions with adaptability and influence to effectively engage diverse audiences.
  • Learning Culture: Build a sustainable learning culture within our organization, nurturing the vast knowledge of our team members and fostering an inclusive and continuous learning community.
  • M&A Onboarding: Design and deliver learning content to support successful merger and acquisition onboarding, ensuring a seamless integration of new talent.
  • Program Variety: Demonstrate expertise in designing, developing, and delivering in-person, e-learning, and blended programs that drive behavior change and have a profound impact on our organization.
  • Team Empowerment: Uphold a commitment to upskilling team members in every interaction, consistently delivering a best-in-class team member experience.

Requirements & Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a training or learning and development-related capacity, with a demonstrated track record of success in live and virtual training environments.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and content authoring tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, encompassing both oral and written communication, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies persuasively.
  • A self-starter who thrives in navigating ambiguity, takes ownership of information gathering, builds meaningful connections, and dives into complex concepts.
  • Agility in receiving and implementing feedback, actively promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
