Portfolio Head for Media Industry - North America

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader to head our Media Portfolio in North America. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth within the Media industry sector. You will develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, manage key client relationships, and lead a high-performing team to achieve ambitious revenue goals. In this Role, you will report into the Communications & Media SBU Head. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Media/Comms Sales / Commercial leader to make a significant impact in the growth of Comms-Media-Tech Business Unit

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Media SBU in North America. This includes setting annual targets, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the development of customized solutions for existing and potential clients.
  • Industry Focus: Strong knowledge of the Media industry Should understand the impact and value proposition of Media providers. Ability to expand beyond IT into network engineering and Business operations stakeholders
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the Media industry. This includes fostering trust, understanding client needs, and exceeding expectations to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Profit & Loss (P&L) Ownership: Take full ownership of the Media Portfolio P&L in North America. This includes managing budgets, optimizing resources, and maximizing return on investment.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sales team dedicated to the Media industry. Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to empower your team to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaboration: Foster a strong collaborative environment with internal stakeholders across Service Lines, Delivery, Marketing, Partners and other teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest trends and challenges facing the Media industry. Leverage your market knowledge to identify new growth opportunities and develop innovative solutions with latest technologies such as GenAI for clients.
  • Sales Execution: Develop and implement winning sales strategies, including effective pursuit planning, proposal development, and deal negotiation.
  • Client Success: Drive client satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service delivery. Partner with delivery teams to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Data & Learning: Leverage data insights to analyze sales performance, identify trends, and continuously improve SBU strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales leadership within the Media industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving profitable growth.
  • Strong understanding of the Media industry landscape and its unique business challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Data-driven approach to decision making and sales strategy development.
  • Experience in leading and motivating a high-performing sales team.
