Job Summary

Execute the high level vision of SABIC and the objectives of the Polymer Strategic Business Units for the Americas market with a focus on PE and PP for South America. Place primary focus on meeting profitable sales targets and achieving high customer satisfaction. Negotiate prices and contracts with key customers in the region. Target significant penetration into South America for PE (Supeer mLLDPE, LLDPE, HDPE and LDPE) and PP (Impact Copolymer, Random Copolymer and Homopolyer) business, with a focus on a complete solution with Differentiated and High Added Value applications. Internally be the voice of the customer and the market needs, in order to be able to provide product solution based approach.

How You Can Be the Impact

  • Provide market related input from the Americas region
  • Translate Sales plans per market into specific sales plans per customer
  • Act as day-to-day interface for customers
  • Generate new sales with existing customers and through acquiring new ones
  • Provide the "listening ear" on the ground for the SBU
  • Recommend new customers
  • Participate in pricing and allocation decisions by contributing market knowledge
  • Provide Sales forecast for his regions (yearly, quarterly, monthly and as required)
  • Channel customer feedback into the SBU
  • Make sure order processing, transportation and documentation responsibilities are fulfilled (in collaboration with the Logistics department) and take adequate actions when there are issues
  • Ensure on-time and high quality order fulfillment for customers

What Matters to SABIC

  • University Degree
  • Preferably Master degree in Business management / Marketing
  • 6 years in petrochemicals or in a similar industrial environment
  • Track record with P&L accountability for customer base
  • Expert understanding of Polymers market
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Diverse problem solving skillset
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
