ROLE OBJECTIVE:
This role focuses on formulating merchandising strategies to meet or surpass sales and profit targets by sourcing products that align with brand objectives and enhance merchandise strategies.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct regular store and market visits to stay updated on customer preferences and trends.
  • Analyze business performance to boost sales, profitability, and inventory management while minimizing risks.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify sales growth opportunities and enhance vendor relationships.
  • Develop assortment strategies based on business categories, price points, and trends.
  • Research market trends and work with vendors to identify and develop products.
  • Manage product production and delivery schedules, negotiating costs and timelines.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Brand Development and Merchandising.
  • Extensive business acumen with a focus on retail operations.
  • Track record of driving business growth and delivering results.
  • Strong sense of brand and customer understanding.
  • Ability to interpret fashion trends and envision brand direction.
  • Proven leadership skills with conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining cooperative relationships.
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on talent retention and development.
  • Understanding of competition, target customers, and fashion trends.
  • Ability to translate knowledge into actionable business plans for merchandising categories.
  • A successful business track record with a strategic mindset for growth opportunities.
