KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Management Leadership:
  • Lead the establishment and growth of the PMO at CCI Health Services, defining best practices and methodologies for project management across the organization.
  • Provides oversight and direction for the project team.
  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop project plans, set objectives, and ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Defines project scope, budget, and timeline in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Manages communication and expectations among various stakeholders.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, making data-driven decisions to ensure project success.
  • Ensures that resources are effectively utilized to achieve project objectives.
  • Resource Allocation:
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain high standards for project quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements, particularly in healthcare projects.
  • Oversees the implementation of best practices and methodologies.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensures thorough documentation of project and outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Implement process improvements to enhance project management practices and organizational efficiency.
  • Financial Management:
  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and cost control measures, ensuring responsible financial stewardship.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the project team and other CCI staff members (if necessary).
  • Fosters a collaborative and high-performing team.
  • Organizational Support:
  • Provides guidance and insight for CCI staff to manage smaller scale projects. This could include developing tools, documents, and creating metrics/data points for the project.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • PMP certification required. Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and/or Six Sigma a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management, with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in managing construction and renovation projects, healthcare service expansion projects, health information technology projects, and grant/contract projects, a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a healthcare or federally qualified health center environment is a plus.

  • Ability to work with a diverse team from all different cultures, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender-diverse individuals.
